Criminology: the Sociology of Crime
Crime is the primary problem in every society. Today, criminology is usually considered a proper subset of sociology. Crime has been studied as a branch of psychology and neurology - both assuming that our minds or brains govern, define or create our behavior. Endocrinology and genetics have been called upon as well. Each of these offers valid insights and some useful solutions.
